Our signature project was our service to the City Mission in Cleveland, Ohio, where we mentored and provided guidance to approximately 45 inner city youth every Wednesday or Thursday evenings for 2 1/2 years during the academic school year, but due to the lack of transportation available to our youth, the project had to be suspended last winter. It was a fabulous program and we took great pride in the fact that we made a difference in the lives of those students. The first year at the City Mission we focused on providing guest speakers and a computer lab curriculum that taught the students how to effectively use the computer to write essays and letters to get into college. During the second year, along with more special guests, we also taught them how to create their own webpages for a potential business interest. During last year we were making huge strides in getting the students to understand that they can make a difference and then the program was suspended. Some of our guests over the 2 1/2 year program were police officers, probation officers, judges, and other professionals.
